I had a similar injury like this and I cried on the ground for 10 minutes. The pain is so intense, and you know you just lost 9 months of your life. Props for Gavi, he took it like a man. i'll hope he fully recover soon.

No matter who you are, what you do as a profession, ACL tear means 9 months of your life are lost and what followed is psychological fear which lingers in head for the rest of the life.

I broke it in February doing a match too, the worst of it is that at first you can’t except the gravity of the situation like it can really happen with the most dumb movement (always without the ball) mine was after fainting with the opponent I tried to change absolutely the direction and speed and suddenly hear a “pop sound” inside my knee, I continued two minutes thinking it was just a bad movement but I ended up not being able to even keep standing, the pain was hard but not too much
