the story is very crazy and convulted, but extremely entertaining, it certainly its not a boring story, its full of crazy things, the game is more focused on nuking with magic spells, so melee characters work as "tanks" dedicated to stun the enemies while your wizards nuke them, its certainly a strange tales game, but it was great for its time and I still remember it with love, it has one of the best soundtracks in the series.

I did a full voice acted playthrough of this game if anyone cares, full HD. I did hearts, tempest and innocence as well. Why? because the series deserved it and they weren't on youtube yet. Translating teams be damned, If I could I'd do it myself. So I did, sort of. Throw me a like.

I finally found it. close to 20 years ago i was mesmerized by this opening but was too young to read properly. since then i been searching retro games in hopes of finding games i saw in my youth but have no idea what their names were. it seem impossible but i can't believe i actually found it by chance. now i understand why i couldn't find it too, this game was never released in us. now i wish they bring this in english. hopefully they do since lots of well known series are getting remakes and re-releases. I know tales series have a good chance then.

Still the best sequel of the series... It feels like a complete new experience even of you played the original ToD (Tox2 and ToP Narikiri Dungenon were great games but they felt like an expansion of their original games... And don't get me started on Symphonia DoTNW...)

Its like saying we cant get FF3 because was have FF3 when in realty it was FF6. Now fast forward several years as we get (got) the real FF3 some time later. In short they have no excuse to not give us ToD2.
