I'm concerned about the fact that you have the steel pipe surrounded by wet soil and grass this will speed up the rusting process.

I would have thought it would be smarter to have the concrete footing sitting slightly proud of the soil level so the water would drain away and not have constant moisture sitting against the pole.

For even more stability take two building bricks (the type with a hole in the middle) and set them off at an angle of 90 deg. Stick the ground tube through it and then pour the concrete.
