Last Friday the Haslab Ghostbusters Plasma Series Spengler’s Proton Pack hit 15,000 backers and all Stretch Goal tiers were unlocked, and today at 11:59pm the funding period will end. Is it possible the Proton Pack could reach 20,000 backers?

Hot on the heels of the Haslab GI Joe Sky Striker Project being fully backed and unlocking two of its three stretch goals, the Ghostbusters Proton Pack had already successfully funded weeks ago, and since then has steadily unlocked backer incentive tiers like the classic bundle with hose attachment and sticker sheet. Tier two After Life Package Mini Stay Pufft Marshmallow Men, tier three the Spengler’s Special with Notebook and promotional photos, and finally this afternoon the Proton Pack Stand.

Some people complained about the wait time on other channels but as I said on my videos the fact that it's a year away can potentially save people's lives, What If a guy ordered the pack and like a month from now the wife leaves him and the dude is all depressed sitting around alone in an empty firehouse and contemplating suicide and he's ready to do it but just then he realizes he ordered the pack... so now he has to wait til 2023 and by then he meets another chick who loves ghostbusters and when the pack arrives they take turns wearing it and do kinky ghostbuster related things and live happily ever after and all because he #backedthepack 🤔

Final number was 21, 625 lol I think they jumped so much due to the overseas numbers being added for sites like Zavvi lol. Still, absolutely incredible we got 3 times the number required for initial funding and legit could have hit 2 my more teirs of they had made then

The biggest problem is that this is only half a proton pack. The wand will not communicate with it. We will need to solder on parts ourselves to get the wand to communicate with it. The wand speaker can’t be silenced. If the pack has a startup sound, it will play through the wand sound. Two non communicating pieces.

This is just a display piece or half a functional proton pack. Even Mattel had the foresight to include a jack into its wand in anticipation of a future pack. Hasbro doesn’t have the quality of toy leadership of Mattel.

Same with the 6inch figures, just compare the Matty figures to the Hasbro Plasma. Even though Hasbro is 10 years newer, they’re much lower quality products.
