This is no joke! Someone tried many times to open accounts in my name. Usually, medical companies security analysts systems get hacked and bingo your information is hacked. Next time I fly or travel I will bring a book instead of using the cell phone.

I'm not overly concerned about being "anonymous" online but getting hacked or scammed is a great reason for having a VPN. All the tech and services cost money I don't have but one thing I can do is not use public WiFi networks. Thanks again Jason !!💪🏻

For security questions you can do the following which does not require you to memorize or write down the answers:
1. Use same answer for every question anywhere. They may ask for favorite car but you can still answer "cheese" or anything else.
2. Better yet; use the last word of the question as the answer. Eg, Q. "What is your best friend's name?" A. "name"
3. Even better, use #2 above but write the answer backwards. Eg. "eman"

something you dropped real quick is "if you don't have it all in an LLC or something." That's key. otherwise your property information is public record and is in my area, online and searchable. Like your style, man! Right to the point and you stay on point - no useless idle. Thanks for sharing.

When selecting a VPN, always choose a non-American VPN, maybe Mullvad or AirVpn as they're both non-US based. Also do a lot of web browsing in linux based virtual box instances so you stay safer and get to poison more data to annoying the adver tisers!

Huh.. I do ALL of that as a Cybersec guy. But my state government has an unratified treaty with a foreign nation, specifically the one from which I fled... Yup.

When that country asked this state where I was, the local superior court gave them my home address and contact information that they had on file through my driver's license. My right to privacy and Gov protections was bypassed completely..

A shruggy apology and a name change is what I had been advised to do.. And I'm not even getting paid!!

$250, 000, $240 an hour plus expenses and travel for a lawyer to represent me in a sure win case.. In the service we were even "brothers", good to know that it means nothing at all.

Beware when anyone, especially government, has your data. Even if there are "lawful" protections in place, it's all BS and will be ignored to their convenience.

Just like the country I came from.. Except I, or my foreign family, wouldn't be carrying the risk of my exposure for serving this nation. Maybe I should have just stayed there and kept their secrets, secrets.

Sad... But justice is only for those who can afford it.
