The reason y’all are mad at phoebe isn’t because she did something wrong. She followed the writers and directors and did her job well. She’s a good actor with a bad script and direction. Indiana jones has historically had awful scripts and directors. The problem is that y’all are too attached to a FRANCHISE, and you have extreme expectations of exactly what you want to see. And because it, a movie made by humans, portraying humans, in a human world- was not perfect, as no human thing is - y’all are pissed. Your expectations were so high that you are disappointed by a movie that is a bit above mediocre. And you want to blame someone because the franchise you love can’t possibly be to blame. So you blame the female actress, because it’s easier to be sexist. Blame the script and the director for the mediocracy, or harrison ford for being old..? Or maybe do some reflection on why you have so much of yourself invested in a franchise and get a fucking hobby. Or friends. Idk do something other than beef with a literal movie online.
