DJI Mavic 2 Pro 6 Months Later - The BEST Drone Ever? [4K]

I’ve owned the Mavic 2 Pro for full 6 months and in this video I will let you know what I think about the drone now that we’ve seen a lot of firmware updates for it, i’ve used it in pretty much all types of weather and i’ve gotten used to all of its pros and cons.

Just get your self the Litchi app.. you can pre create waypoints, poi’s, and set speeds, curves, and altitudes and save as many as you like! They also update it on a regular basis👍

The next time you see an airplane sitting on the ramp you will notice a big piece of equipment hooked to it.
It is called an (APU) auxiliary power unit. This powers the airplane while being worked on or technicians are adjusting things.

Why doesn’t DJI come out with such a device. It could be an outboard power unit that would plug into the drone where the battery would fit.
This would give power to the drone while you are making adjustments and your battery stays in the flight case.

There have been times where this would come in handy. I could just plug it into the drone, plug the power supply into the wall and power-up the
Mavic 2. You need to remove the props or make sure you don’t take off by accident.

For all the same reasons, I love my Mavic 2 Pro which succeeded a Phantom 4 Pro and a Mavic Air. I find in still photography, the iPhone meets all requirements to position the drone for the shot. When making a video, I also find the iPhone meets all needs. Most productions are an assembly of short clips which are created often with Spotlight, Point of Interest, TapFly, and ActiveTrack modes. Planning clips ahead of time and the correct mode for the clip beats random FPV flying with goggles and reduces the need for the new larger controller.

Now if only DJI could invest in a major PR campaign to reduce drone phobia and provide a legal assistance center for drone operators (or their lawyer friends) to turn to when they get into unsubstantiated legal problems. That, hopefully, would allow more freedom in selecting flight locations other than very rural environments.

I am upgrading from a Tello to the mavic 2 zoom After a couple of months of flying I think my skills have improved to the point to where I think I should have a better more distance drone.. do you think I should upgrade or keep my tello till i learn just a little more on weaving through obstacles?

Great review and have to agree with u with this, I find the Mavic 2 Pro nothing short of amazing too! Its got the sweet spot between quality and portability! Which is absolutely what I need in my drone. Btw amazing shots there!
