I’m a travel nurse, I got my car stuck in the snow during an assignment. While waiting for a tow truck some police officers confronted me. They asked me to do a sobriety test… when the female officer demonstrated, she was slipping and sliding in the snow. I laughed out loud and said, you want me to do something she can’t even do ? And she has sneakers on ! I have high heeled boots on?! They immediately arrested me and charged me with a dui, took me to jail. I had recorded the entire encounter on my smart phone luckily. It took two years and $7k to get the dismissed accusation expunged off of my record. It also cost me a lot of jobs that I wanted because while being a pending case it would show up on my background check.
I am not a fan of cops ever since!
