Transfer Function of LTI System Examples

This video provides examples of computing the transfer function H(s) from a time-domain description of a linear system (i.e. a differential equation). We show how the transfer function can be written down via inspection, and also how this greatly simplifies computation of the zero-state response for an example input of f(t) = exp(-4t)u(t).

transfer function is laplace transform of impulse response of LTI system ....so if we give unit step input to a lti system, would it not have transfer function?
