Does Chime Tell you if you have a pending deposit?
Chime Bank has 4 types of deposits.
Cash Deposit that you can make in retail locations like Walmart, CVS and others.
Direct Deposit that you can set up to receive your salary, benefits and tax refund from the IRS.
You can also receive money from friends.
All these deposits you see as a finished transaction. It means you will not see them as pending.
Transfers initiated from other banks are visible only when they are cleared.
So the only transfer you can see as pending is the transfer that was initiated from Chime Bank Application.
To make things clear - the only transfer that Chime initiated by itself.
Chime does not hold your deposits.
You will not see your tax refund and stimulus check as pending deposit or as a pending transaction.
