One Handed Backhand Tennis Lesson with 4.5 NTRP Player

In this tennis lesson, I help my student Shamir with his one-handed backhand. Shamir is a 4.5 NTRP level recreational player. He started playing tennis at the age of 18 and has been working very hard to maximize his tennis potential. This is the first time Shamir and I have been on the court together. You might have some similar problems with your backhand and you could use this one-handed backhand tennis lesson to apply the same corrections that I demonstrated with my 4.5 NTRP student.

Unlike some other so called club pros. This coach has no bs, zero time wasted and straight to the points. Very good info.

What sets this coach aside is his laser ability to immediately spot flaws in technique. His diagnostic skills are superb

I’ve watched a million one handed backhand videos. I think this one is the most helpful that I’ve seen. Thanks!

I really liked that student's attitude. He asked good questions and wasn't just saying yes to the coach's every point. It shows he genuinely wants to get better and doesn't stubbornly believe his game is fine.

This was crazy to watch. It's literally all my 1 hand backhand problems, as I watch my mistakes on my own videos. And every single word he says has value and brings tons of great advice. Very interesting.

Great video. Samir is a really good student to feature here. He's better than most of us, but still learning. He asks great questions, too. Really good dynamic between you two.

I am a 4.0 player and have struggled with my backhand for a long time. I watched this video and then went out for a hit. It was truly game-changing. I hit more solid backhands than at any time in my entire life. Great explanation and phenomenal results. Thanks so much!

Show you number to the opponent. That much you have to turn. That's a golden advice. Thanks!

Damn, Nick! Your technical videos are far superior than other instructor’s videos. This one is truly one of the BEST one hand backhand tutorials to get a professional looking 1-hand backhand. Foot positioning, torso turn, shoulder positioning, dipping shoulder, balls coming at you. Truly a gem!

Your student’s backhand is now definitely at 5.0 level. As you know, I am 5.0 and learned a few things from this video too!

That tip is very useful, that one can take the back-foot back to prepare early for a ball on our backhand, when the ball is in our middle court. Noone ever told me that.

The lucidity with which you are explaining is awesome Sir.

Excellent advice especially the footwork when the ball comes at you!
