Great collection. You can tell you are a passionate comic book collector. I have a lot of the same comic books got them from my dad and I collected everything wolverine and punisher as a kid. Just have not taken the time to send my comics to CGC to get them graded. It seems like a big undertaking. I have that Avengers number 4 as well and a bunch of silver keys for Avengers, Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Daredevil and X-men. Thanks for sharing your collection.

Great collection of comics, although it wouldn't have even occurred to me to get some of the more modern comics slabbed. In fact I have all of those magnificent Bronze Age X-Men in high grade and purchased off the spinner rack, but still haven't slabbed them. At least I can still do that, but obviously will never have the pleasure of getting Stan Lee to sign a book in person. You lucked out that he signed that Hulk 340 in the perfect location. Other collectors have noted that they weren't so fortunate ;)

Man, such an interestingly eclectic set of books. The range in eras, grades, signatures...and a lot of 9.8 and other high grade books too! Good stuff.

Loved the books. I just gave you a sub so I will definitely keep watching out for your videos.

BTW, That Marvel Two-In-One Annual has always been one of my favorite stories to read and reread over the years. Nothing shows Ben Grimm’s aka The Thing’s indomitable spirit and will to overcome odds and the willingness to save others over himself more then this “fantastic” story.

What a wonderful grouping from your collection. Thank you for posting. Being a fanboy of the Marvel Silver age myself, I can truly appreciate your amazing books. One question on Avengers #4. What was it that made it a restored book? Perhaps a bit of color touch? I also loved those Stan Lee signature books. I had met Stan at a shareholders annual meeting in NYC back in 1995. No big hoopla and he was just sitting in the rather small audience with everyone else. I spoke with him and he was friendly and chatty. I mentioned my Mother never threw out my books and he said I was a lucky boy. He then signed both of my annual reports which were in the form of a comic book. I have them to this day.
Now about that "Pence" edition. The small letter d refers to Denarius which is a Latin word meaning money and similar to the Spanish word Denero or in Italien, Denaro.
Lastly, I think you just might have a copy of ASM #50 somewhere in your collection, yes? If so, and it's raw, please feel free to read my childhood letter to the editor. Left page, bottom left. Stan called me Joey. I was 11 years old at the time. I used to have 6 copies but now just two lovely copies that I will have slabbed. One of them has John Romita Sr's signature on the bottom of the splash page and another signature in the margin by my letter. Thanks again for showing your lovely books. Best to all and Make Mine Marvel...um, Silver age that is.

Love the collection brother. Trying to get my What If collection together as well as others near and dear to my heart. If I knew then what I had when I was 8 I would've taken better care of my books.
