why haven't they made a miter saw than can cut 60 degree angles on on wood thicker than 3"? I just don't understand buying the 10" or 12" if you still have to turn the wood to cut it the same as a 8.5" miter saw.

Great idea. Using my miter saw will save me the cost of buying a band saw. And that's an expensive way to have to cut ONE 6x6.

i only have table saw and really afraid to use timber wood on that.. I think miter saw is safer for thick wood
