ofc kdb has better stats and for the most part, the team was built around him. Modric made the attack look all the more impressive, he didn't win a ballon d'or for no reason.
and kdb wasnt consistent in his career in the early days, he was tossed out of chelsea and only did well at woldsburg, and if u look at modric's early achievments, he won player of the season in a league where his team almost got relegated.

his longevity is also insane, he won the ballon dor at 34 and played ever so consistently before, he makes a difference everytime hes on the pitch but it goes under the radar all the time.
