I needed to hear this. God has revealed to me some truths. I asked Him recently to close doors. So he showed me a door that needed to be shut. I struggled to shut it on my own. So he shut it for me. But I became bitter towards that person with complaining to those in my inner circle. Some, has been me seeking advice to validate what was right and what was wrong... Still, overall, I realize I have been complaining out of bitterness. I know it's not from God, nor does it lead anyone else to God.
Already talking to God, know that I need to repent for anything that may be considered slander or gossip. Because that's not the kind of person I want to be. Even if she mistreated me and wrongfully slandered my name, I don't want to be a person who does the same.

So thank you for this video. Reminding me that I need to humble myself and seek God's council. 😢

The story of the man and the snake in the fire really hit home for me. When the snake bit him after he saved it, people asked why he didn’t just leave it to die. He answered, ‘The nature of the snake is to bite, but my nature is to save.’ That’s the heart of Christ—and it reminded me of how I want to respond to people, even when I feel hurt or rejected.
Sometimes, I’ve felt like the one being bitten—by judgmental glances, cold rooms, or silent disapproval because of my shyness or how I carry myself. I’ve wanted to either run away or rebel—to become what they already assume I am. But this story reminded me: Don’t let someone else’s nature change yours.
Before I felt the sting of rejection, I had a gentle, loving nature. And I want to hold on to that. I’m learning to say: ‘Even if others reject me, I will not reject myself. I will not reject the image of Christ in me.’ Because just like the man who saved the snake, Jesus pulled me out of the fire, knowing my weakness and fear. And still He loves me.
