Obviously, the soil has some issues that tests do not recognize! It probably has something to do with an event that happened to it thousands of years ago from some compromise of the area

That this has existed here in NC for 3 centuries is astonishing. The family seems so gracious; allowing investigations & curious people to go visit and/or stay there. The phenomena of Devils Tromping Ground is truly fascinating. 😃👍

My backyard has the same problem. Grass don't grow in a certain area year after year. Summer in the south is the hottest season. I never watered the area and never replanted grass. So basica lly it's my laziness that caused the problem. But thanks to my two 🐕 dogs 🐕, I might get lucky if i see a weed or two spring up.

You Tube Video: "The most haunted forest in the world? Hoia Baciu Romania's Time Portal." There is a scene of the circle or clearing in the woods where nothing grows. One of the tourists, an English woman called Mandy is eating lunch while sitting in the circular clearing. Her English husband is present with her. These two English people documented their visit to the forest. The clearing is reminiscent of the Devils Tramping Ground, though much larger. The donater for this you tube video are called the Frugal Travelers.

I know off few places like this around my house most where where big pines where and now nothing grows because it's acidic soil pine would grow if people don't walk on it if you where to plant pines they would grow
