I’ve just checked the ranks and found out muichiro is one of the strongest hashira with rengoku ranking lower
As much as a rengoku and muichiro fan I am I do respectfully am not biased towards anyone when it comes to strength. For you younger viewers…

Since Marked mui couldn't react to koku's first form but even unmarked Sanemi could keep up with base koku for 1.5 ch and giyu could keep up with sanemi and by akaza feats rengoku is atleast on base Giyu's level and not to mention it was post HT mui who got neg diffed by base koku who must be a lil bit stronger than ssva mui

And also tanjiro said that rengoku was the strongest person he ever knew during the HT arc
