यज्ञशिष्टाशिनः सन्तो मुच्यन्ते सर्वकिल्बिषै ।
भुञ्जते ते त्वघं पापा ये पचन्त्यात्मकारणात् ॥ १३ ॥
yajña-śiṣṭāśinaḥ santo
mucyante sarva-kilbiṣaiḥ
bhuñjate te tv aghaṁ pāpā
ye pacanty ātma-kāraṇāt
The devotees of the Lord are released from all kinds of sins because they eat food which is offered first for sacrifice. Others, who prepare food for personal sense enjoyment, verily eat only sin.

Offering food to Krishna
📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣
Do's and Don'ts
• Krishna accepts only vegetarian food (no onion no garlic), and avoid ready to eat & store-bought food items
• Don’t taste the food while cooking
• Use a new set of plate, bowls & glass (Bhoga offering set) for offering bhoga to Krishna and make sure it is not used by anyone else.It should be used only for this purpose.
• Transfer the bhoga and water to the bhoga offering set.(Bhoga- the food that is to be offered to Krishna)
• Place tulasi leaves on each bhoga preparation and in the water.
• Place the offering in front of the deity
• Close the door/curtains of deity room/temple
• Chant the prayers
• Offer obeisance’s
Prayers for Offering Food/Bhoga
1. While ringing a bell, Chant the pranama prayers to Srila Prabhupada three times each:
nama om visnu-padaya krsna-presthaya bhu-tale
srimate bhaktivedanta-svamin iti namine
namas te sarasvate deve gaura-vani-pracarine
nirvisesa-sunyavadi-pascatya-desa-tarine
2. Chant the following prayer to Lord Caitanya three times:
namo maha-vadanyaya krishna-prema-pradaya te
krishnaya krishna-caitanya-namne gaura-tvishe namah
3. Chant the following prayer to Lord Krishna three times
namo brahmanya-devaya go-brahmana-hitaya ca
jagad-dhitaya krishnaya govindaya namo namah
After Offering Food
• After 5-10 minutes make sound either by knocking on the door, clapping hands or ringing a bell
• Offer obeisance’s and open the door of deity room/temple
• Remove the plate, transfer the prasadam to the vessel in which bhoga is there, and wash Krishna’s dinnerware.
After that relish the wonderful Prasadam
