The Best Brine Shrimp Hatchery?

LINK to the Hobby Brine Shrimp Hatchery:
(The brine shrimp hatchery above includes a 1.75 jar of quality brine shrimp eggs (80% hatch rate.)
Newly hatched Brine shrimp (Artemia sp.) make an excellent live food for fry and other small fish. Nauplii (another name for newly hatched brine shrimp) are easy to hatch. I like to use this brine shrimp hatchery because it is extremely easy to set up, and harvesting the newly hatched brine shrimp is extremely quick and easy. This brine shrimp hatchery automatically separates the nauplii from the shells!

This hatchery is one of the few good old things, 50+ years as far as I can remember.

You are probably video number 12 I've searched on this topic.
YOU, are the ONLY one to mention the nutrition lost, as time goes by because they consume their sac. where all the nutrients are.
That's probably a pretty important fact to know.
Considering the only reason you go through all this hassle is for the high nutrition feed.
So thank you for sharing a bit of your knowledge.

It's 2024 and I've just bought mine from one of the very few Aussie stores that offer these (1000 kms from my house) thanks to online shopping, perfect for my 2 aquarium hobby. Happy New Year Russ, great video review :)

This will be perfect for me. Mine just arrived. I got myself a baby betta fish on December 30th. I got a hatchery for the purpose of being able to feed him frequently. This is the perfect size. He is the only one I’m feeding bbs to, so this is just what I need.

I completely agree this is a great hatchery. I'm on my third hatch and my nano fish are so happy. Even my scarlet badis come out of hiding to feast.

I have 2 of them, I run an air lin with a stone through the little spout. I can keep adding eggs for at least a week before changing the water.

I have a set up of 4, typically start them at different times in sequence and that gives a constant supply...

Just set this very same hatchery up today. Hopefully I have success and can feed my freshwater community tank live food for the first time.

I found this kit a few months ago and have been using it weekly since. I do not breed fish, but my tetras and dwarf rainbow's go CRAZY when i feed bbs. I thought about hatching bbs before but kept putting it off because of the setup needed. Not that its hard but this does make it SO much easier that i actually do it. It isnt cheap but if you have to feed fry or just want to give your smaller adult fish a tasty treat now and then it is definitely worth it in my opinion.

Good hint about a bright light over the cup. I put one over about an hour or so before harvesting and the catch is far greater than from ambient light. Great invention!
