Open edX Conference 2018 with Fiona Hollands Keynote: MOOCs 2025

Dr. Hollands will present her most recent research findings on MOOC's and online learning initiatives, placing it in the historical context of MOOC trajectory. She will look back at past predictions about MOOCs that turned out to be right - and wrong - with possible explanations and suggestions for future developments and predictions for where MOOCs will go in 2025.

24:50 people don't listen to people like you? I beg to differ. I am here right now for that reason. I created a D.I.Y. Degree with over 400 online courses curated into specialized lists (I call semesters). Some of the courses are 1 hour long, and others 30 hours. However in order to achieve my goals this was the best option for me. I do think others will eventually follow suit. This being said I am trying to create content, and guides to help people do the same in the future. Perhaps even create a course on it too.
