SubhanAllah, my Baba taught me this dua when I was so young I just thought it was part of the normal prayer. He told me it wasn't obligatory but I didn't realise all my life I've been saying a Sunnah dua! Subhanallah I never questioned it. I was waiting for this Brother to read the dua but I was kind of sad because there are so many duas out there and I'm trying to memorise so many so I knew I'd just save it but not be able to learn it at the moment. Subhanallah, what a plesent surprise, Alhamdulillah, may Allah SWT send blessings upon my parents and siblings who taught me to pray. Ameen.
