Rainy Day in Downtown Chicago, Light Thunderstorm and City Sounds

Rain walk in Chicago on a late morning. This video was recorded many months ago, but I never got the chance to edit and upload (as many of my videos). I shot this pretty spontaneous and the rain didn't last too long. The video starts off on Michigan Ave and ends at Lake Michigan with some lighter rain.

Walking downtown Chicago during a rainy day or at night were my all-time favorite ways to vibe out. I would throw my iPod on, blast my favorite bands and artists of the early 2000s, 90s and 80s. It was so therapeutic for me. I truly miss it... I haven't been home since 2008.

My home for 67 years, I moved 7 years ago. I loved this video. I saw so many office buildings I worked in, hotels and restaurants I had business meeting in and partied in. Stores on Michigan I shopped in. Rode the river shuttles on the Chicago River. North Avenue Beach so quiet with just the waves of Lake Michigan. So so many good memories. Thank you for such a beautiful video it brought back so many good memories. Chicago will always be in my heart and soul.

Lived in Chicago 2011-2018. I miss it a lot sometimes. Nothing beats driving a car through Chicago downtown at night while it's snowing. Or driving on Lake Shore Drive during summer
