Major respect for the drummer dude that dropped his stick, picked it up, kept the beat and came back in without missing it.  Well done, sir!

This kid at the drum could have panicked after dropping his stick, but he stayed focused and managed to go back in the game. At that age, this requires nerves. Congratulations!

Ive been playing drums for 30 years. Regarding the little dude that dropped his drumstick, he did what any of us without a stick depot would've done. And he did great! Watching this 8 years after the fact, I bet hes an absolute drum monster today.

I’m 65, and I’ve heard this song a hundred times…, but when that “kid” went into his solo….GOOSEBUMPS. Fantastic job, all of you, keep it going, you have a great future ahead of you.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like the epic monster drummer from the 46 and 2 video is playing kettle drums in the backup percussion section, and the little kid that played the sticks is now killing it on the lead drum kit.
That shows awesome improvement from the little guy and the older guy being a gracious mentor.  This school is SUCH a great example of what education should look like!

I watch these videos over again every once in a while. I'm never not impressed with the younger kids that are doing the singing in this song. They're all on point.
