i doubled the amount of rows and used a super tiny yarn (it was thread ok) and it looks so delicate and almost like lace i'm in love.... the diamond pattern is really coming through, the fabric feels stretchy but super durable, truly the best thing i've ever crocheted so far (as a beginner)

If anyone is struggling just understand the nature of the pattern. Each diamond starts with 2 stitches, 6, 10, 6, and back to 2. It helps to look at the previous rows to see if things are done correctly. All the gaps should line up diagonally

I love this pattern soo much! It's so dainty and simple in a pretty way, but also customisable and well explained! Love this, thank you! ❤🫶

TIP THAT HELPED ME.
AT THE TOP OF EACH DIAMOND, Double crochet twice oo either side into chain space, chain one, skip top of diamond from previous row...

Here are some additional notes that helped me!

- Every time you’re skipping stitches (so in the 4th and 5th rows, and the row right after the top of a diamond), you’re *chaining 1*
- Your 3rd rows will always have *6 stitches* (not counting the 2 DC’s in the chain spaces)
- When you start skipping stitches on the 4th row, you will double crochet in *6 stitches*
- When you start skipping on the 5th row, you will double crochet in *2 stitches*
- If a diamond looks wonky, make sure you put 2 double crochets in the chain spaces of the previous row. I found this was my most common mistake; it pays off to double check each row of the entire work after finishing it, rather than having to frog a ton (yes, I did learn that the hard way!)

After the initial intense struggle of figuring out how to do it without the video, I finished! What helped was figuring out where the holes would be and working with that! It gets easier once you struggle though it. Few hours later I have a beautiful bandana!

Amazing! Made it in just a few hours. I came here from your website when I needed help with visualizing the picot stitches, and this video was perfect. Thanks so much!

I wish you hadn't stopped... I usually follow youtube videos because I struggle with written patterns so I couldn't finish this one as I found it quite difficult, I know it can be tedious but you could have continued to crochet at a higher speed with some background music or something. The pattern is very beautiful so I wish I could have finished

I unknowingly picked this as my first project as an absolute beginner. I was also a bit lost when the tutorial stopped, but I managed to figure it out on my own.
Starting from Row 8, you just have to repeat steps from row 2 and 5 (i.e. 2, 5, 2, 5, 2). Then, Row 9 will be (3, 0, 3, 0, 3). Row 10 will be the beginning of two more diamonds on the two ends: 1, 4, 1, 4, 1, 4, 1. Row 11: 2, 5, 2, 5, 2, 5, 2.
Don't know if this makes sense, but this is how I complete the rest of the bandana.
Hope it helps!

Just finished this! Took me a whole day! I lost the rhythm when you left us wonder alone lol but I was able to figure it out and I actually memorized the pattern which is great! I’m in love with this cute head covering! I’ll be making more in different colors for church! Thank you so much for your time and effort in making this video for us!

Thank you for taking your time to show a Step by Step tutorial. I am new to crocheting 🧶 and I watch videos to learn how to read patterns it’s great to watch people like yourself as I feel like I can achieve anything.

thank you for the tutorial!! it's absolutely beautiful!! i made mine with three chain picots and made it as a neck bandana, like a mini shawl, instead :) i didn't add the chains and singles on the sides, then when i was happy with the length of the triangle i stopped adding diamonds, and just did double crochet up in a rectangle, this way the part around my neck fit snug and will keep me warm 💚❤️
