It feels like the costs just keep rising every year—rent, loan payments, food, bills, taxes… I remember when living in Vegas was so affordable, but now it seems like everywhere is getting more expensive at the same pace, while incomes stay low. The government really needs to cut us some slack on taxes; it’s becoming harder to manage everything.

got to keep moving up. I went from Circle K to hairdresser to RN. It took all the steps to realize what I could do or become. so glad I did. Marry another nurse and we have the income to own a house. I never could have done it had I not moved forward. It took me 5 years to get my 2 year associate nursing degree, but little steps, consistently over time wins the race.

Me, born in Vegas and still live in Vegas, I remember when Vegas was one of the most affordable cities to live, thing’s have certainly changed.
To make ends meet I’ve had to radically cut back my expenditure’s, so far I’ve had to quit alcohol, meth, crack cocaine and heroin.

Nevada doesn’t pay what California pays once you move there you start to realize your money doesn’t last much especially in the past 7, years everything is way too high in Las Vegas. People once moved there because a 2, bedroom 2, bathroom apartment was 450~500, dollars that is no longer the case ~ there’s no farming so you are overpaying for everything.
