It is not "the end of summer" in the South (I live there). We still have at least a month of hot, humid, stormy summer weather left, that can also continue into October.

How is it that we live texas next to the hot steamy gulf of Mexico but can't even get a shower to relive us from the heat

I vote we don’t name storms until Category 1 Hurricane or TS storms that are currently causing significant damage.

It's a bummer they forced you to incorporate KHOU in your name and social media handles. I liked when you were simply Tim Pandajis. Somehow added more credibility

"You have over a million customers without electricity" Wait Tim, are you pitching to investors or are you give us a weather report?

Ummm I’m from southern Mississippi but live in southern la. Katrina was the most horrible hurricane in my opinion but he didn’t mention that. Also the waters are way warmer and then wat he has listed. All our local news stations have them hotter then wat he says. And I know that’s true cause just two weeks ago I was at the Mississippi gulf coast beach in Hancock county waveland and it was warmer then I’ve ever felt… I’m not saying he is wrong… but … Katrina? Warmer waters?
