Truce holding: Thousands rush to reunite with families

The Qatar-brokered truce deal between Israel and Hamas came into force early on Friday. at 7am local time - that's 05:00 GMT. There have been no reports of fighting. The deal offers some relief for Gaza’s 2-point-3 million Palestinians, who have endured seven weeks of Israeli bombardment.

Desperately shocking. Im sure many feel that they went with their families. A natural human emotion after witnessing this horror. All I can do is pray that God intervenes and gives the Palestinians hope and respite as well as opens the politicians, defence forces and corporation employees hearts and minds to stop further damage.

One of the Palestinians released is Basil Ayaida: He was a 14 year old Palestinian from Alkhalil (Hebron) he had to leave school and look for work to support his family. Although only 14 with no paper work he managed to find work in Be’r Al Sabi’ (Be'er Sheva) outside the West Bank in historic Palestine. He had constant conflict with the zionist settlers that employed him for withholding his wages.
His employers contacted authorities to inform them that Basil didn’t have legal documents for working there (to avoid paying his wages)
He was detained at the age of 15.. he was tortured and interrogated mercilessly for years. One day he fought back against his interrogators and broke one of their arms. He spent the SIX years after that in solitary confinement with regular torture and beating, no visitation until 5 months before release. To this day he walks like he is chained.. he protects his head when sits from the trauma of torture and he lost most of his memory. He spent a total of 11 years in what Palestinians call “the castles of torture” i.e israeli prison

I’m other video when, hamas releasing israilis “ Extremist ‘Hamas’, first two captives are being directed towards the right vehicle, then a kid being hugged like that’s his kid, mom is along the kid and the kid was picked up in soldier’s arm hand then seated in the van, two older women are respectfully shown where to be seated, one older woman who probably has hard time walking got lifted in one of soldier’s arm like that’s his mother!, Red Cross official being told be gentle to them, no scars, debris or broken eye glass of the kid, no torn clothes rather clean for a period of 50days! older ladies looking at them the humble treatment they had like thanking them, they look rather surprised an enemy supposed to be that gentle!, one older lady even say hi to the camera “ that’s not a scared person waves their hands “ what the gentle behavior of these enemies, whatever the motive was, they didn’t seem as what is portrayed by the media, so extremist and barbarous is someone else … hmm
