These people need to be arrested. If they were council employees then they would have to provide their ID's, so they don't work for the council, so who do they work for? They are committing a road traffic offence so they too should receive a fine. These stupid schemes are eventually going to end up in civil disobedience and I'm surprised that the police haven't raised that concern with the councils.

Although she asked "can you show me anything" the clown with the weird coloured hair simply showed her a road sign - as an ex Local Authority Enforcement Officer I carried an official ID which had my photograph on it and listed the "powers" delegated to me by the LA ! Not one of these clowns showed her any ID - for al she knew they could have been the local village idiots, they certainly looked and acted like them !!
