I think a good enough hilt for the dark saber would be those dark gun mettle grey ones often seen in Ninjago

I think a darksaber like hilt in Lego isn't necessary, and the current hilt piece is already iconic

Honestly, like what they did, just wish they did a dual molded ninjago katana in black and gun metal grey

I made my own, i took a black katana from ninjago lightly painted white around it with just a thin line of the black sword left to make up the dark saber. And snipped about half of the handle off so it can go in a hilt.

I like it, but I just use a black katana for the dark saber, but that's still pretty cool. And for the new mold you COULD just replace the handle with a black one
