Hi Cassandra, I totally agree that getting out can help. I always love your thrifting videos. When I'm feeling down and out, i enjoy getting out and going to thrift stores and antique shops to just browse around. When I feel like I'm all alone and have no one, I tell myself I am never alone. I have the Lord He is with me all the time. He loves me, and He will never leave me. I love the way you keep your eyes on the Lord. We all need prayer. "Thrifting therapy" helps me much! And sometimes you can meet some really sweet and interesting people while shopping. That helps get me out of the "moods". Also, I'm fairly new to your channel and I really enjoy your videos. Found you in time to enjoy the Christmas posts. 🙂

Don't forget the biggest thing you can do about being sad is prayer! Jesus is our biggest advocate and our truest friend. The Bible also reminds us that our hearts are deceitful and some of our emotions at not the Truth (although, they definitely can be). Trust that God is using all your pain and suffering for his glory and your good (Romans 8:28) (no matter how small the suffering).

The foods you're eating are also contributing to your depression. Go back to your no carb foods. Of course thrifting helps but, does not cure. Unfortunately it's a vicious cycle.
