My theory that is unneeded for this video: (I’m going to assume this is before the encanto is fixed bc of her dress)

Kind of like Pepa when other family members get mad or feel a strong emotion they loose temporary control over their power (kinda like how Pepa’s emotions dictate the weather). Maybe here Isabella got a bit too mad at Camilo, and her intent was just to keep him in place with vines, but because of her emotion (like that time when she formed new plants because of her sour mood talking to Mirabel) they end up dragging him away, however the more she chases him the more desperate she gets to reach him (as she is holding her hand out and crying) thus making the vines react more violently and pulling him away quicker. The vines growing on her arms could also symbolize the temporary loss of control over her powers via strong emotion.

Again… unneeded theory, just thought it would be fun to write
