As an introduction and welcome to My mothers garden, lets talk about soil. We shall look at this for the next 30 days, Soil as an environmental component of your ecosystem, Soil as a living organism, soil as a natural ingredient of agronomy. I will in many ways than one site inspirational examples from my own mothers garden and from every African household food production project that I have seen and regard as successful.

My Mothers' Garden therefore is a systematic compilation of my own agricultural experience and findings aimed at equipping the upcoming agric officers and farmers with basic to fairly complex agro-ecological understanding and skills. Most importantly My Mothers' Garden is a book yet to be completed and therefore welcomes comments and reviews. It is not a business nor playground but a serious platform that I honor so much and establish on my 37th birthday in realization of how much the world needs of true information and encouragement in safe food production.
