Distance from projector to sceen,,And seating distance

I got a similar setup. Epson 4040 about 15ft from screen and 1st row 9ft and 2nd row 14ft. I have a Silver ticket 127.8" 2:35 Screen (Advertised as 125") I run a 7.2.4 optimized for the center front row but the effect is fine in all seats. I have 3ft tall B&W fronts a 2 B&W subs and B&W surrounds and 4 10" ceiling speakers for the heights.

Can you get the same size screen with the projector 13 feet away?

Seating distance is usually measured from screen to head.

Im looking at getting a projector and screen very soon I would like to know what projector I should get i would be putting on a shelf above my window to the opposite side of the wall it is 14 and a half feet away please help.

If you can get wife approval paint the ceiling darker. I painted mine a dark purple to match the darkest wall color she allowed.
(Of course I wanted black but compromise.)

Thank sir. Much appreciated. It looks my room is small. 17 feet and width 9 feet. Do you think its worth going with sony 4k projector or stick with 75 inch tv. I was told one can make projector sceen bigger. Tv you cannot go bigger due to distance.

That chirp sound every 40 seconds means your smoke detector battery needs to be replaced. If you can’t hear that you’re wasting money on that sound system

I have high ceiling in my basement (9'). I manage to have a diagonal of 221" against the wall with my epson hc1060. I can place the sofa at 12 1/2' or 16' from the wall. I don't use it that much neither that often. I have to admit it is pretty big; only maybe 3 people out of 15 think the screen is too big for the distance, but for me it is ok I don't know 🤷🏽‍♂️
