I had surgery yesterday for a 7 cm perineal-to-anal opening fistula, as seen in my MRI (without contrast). During the surgery, the doctor also found and removed another fistula at the 6 o’clock position. I expected a large wound and severe pain, but I have only a small wound, about 3 cm, is this size enough for both fistula removal.
and managable pain like if we have constipation then feel discomfort like that pain.
The doctor also mentioned that he noticed early-stage piles during the surgery.

My concerns are: What precautions should I take to prevent fistula recurrence and to manage the existing piles?

I have been going to the gym for the past 9 years. My current diet includes 300 grams of chicken, 10 eggs, and 2 scoops of whey protein per day. I also include enough fiber and probiotics in my diet. I rarely experience constipation—about 2 to 3 times per year at most.

It's been 82 days after fistulectomy my external opening has healed and looks like normal skin but internal wound is not closing I don't have any pain but I feel gas passage from internal wound area which is at 6 o'clock my both opening was at 6 o'clock does gas passage from wound after 82 days indicate recurrence because internal wound is not closing. Internal wound looks pink but skin edges is not joining
