Gianni Infantino of Switzerland has been elected as the ninth FIFA President after gaining a simple majority of votes in the second ballot of the election at the Extraordinary FIFA Congress 2016. The full vote count was 115 votes for Gianni Infantino, 88 votes for Shk. Salman Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, 4 votes for H.R.H Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, and 0 votes for Jérôme Champagne. 207 of the 209 member association present were eligible to vote.

This is 21st century.... Every country can host world cup.. And every player wanna play world cup.. Four years is too long and it makes depression to players and fans as well.. Fifa has to give chance to every country, every player.. Yeah. Besides that Europe cup, copa america, Asian cup, Africa cup are not important... We want world cup... Let's play together in every two years... Its not a game only its a great festival as well
