I notified Amazon to inform them of the phone call I received from a male telling me he was from Amazon to speak of my order. Long story short, I told the guy that Amazon never phones. So he hung up.

I got that message on my email but it said that beware of scams. Amazon will never ask you for your information.

They almost got me for two new iPhones and a tablet. I'd already told them I absolutely did not authorize that purchase, but when they wanted me to log into my account and change my password and I said, "I may be dumb, but I'm not stupid" they hung up immediately. 😅

I called the number, then I keep them on the line for as long as possible while screwing with them. If they're screwing around with me they're not scamming someone else. I think it's funny as hell that they think people are that stupid, but there are

My one question. How the heck do you keep a positive outlook on anything or even trust, since deceptions are as common as the rats in NYC!!!
I'm literally exhausted and just plain weary at this point so much horror happening at every corner.
So I'm curious, what's your secret to keeping somewhat of a smile?

Ya it's almost like Amazon's data base got sold off and nobody is talking about it because you can go months not making an order and no scams and when you do and often item over a monetary limit then the scams flow in.

Always call the actual company rather than clicking on any links or calling any numbers included!

Happened to me but I was suspicious and then checked out my Amazon account to find no problems existed.
