This movie is bloody brilliant. I honestly didn't even realise it was Carice van Houten in the lead role, since she's so different to her characters in "Game of Thrones" and "Black Death", which is all I'd ever seen her in before watching this film. This is definitely Paul Verhoeven's "opus" in a career full of unheralded classics like "Robocop" and "Flesh + Blood".
