If you are watching our videos on a regular basis (and you should ;) ),
you probably know by now that our favorite Japanese store here in Israel is - Go-Japan!
Here's a short tour of the shop, watch it here (wait for the end) :
Go check out Go Japan's website:
The last time we were there, they had some new products we had to try.
MADE IN JAPAN products!! 3 new sauces by the Japanese company "Mitsuwa"
1. Yakiniku Sauce
2. Yakisoba Sauce
3. Okonomiyaki Sauce.
We already know the Okonomiyaki sauce so we've decided to try to other 2.
- Mitsuwa Barbecue (Yakiniku) Sauce (Tare) :
This sauce is made as a type of Japanese barbecue sauce, but it’s so unique and universal in its flavors, you can use it for so many dishes.
We fell in love with this sauce, and we are now using it in so many different dishes. It's such a great flavor to add to so many great recipes.
We actually have tons of recipes made with that, and we promise to share it with you in our upcoming website!! :)

Mitsuwa Yakisoba Sauce:
Made for mainly Yakisoba style dishes, this sauce has a slightly sweet flavor and will work in many Japanese traditional dishes from fried noodles, pork/chicken cutlets, Okonomiyaki and many more. It somewhat reminds Westchester sauce.
This sauce is made out of Ringo - Apples, tomatoes, onions & garlic.
TOTALLY VEGAN-FRIENDLY
Here is some information about the sauces for the Mistuwa website:
Mitsuwa Barbecue ( Yakiniku) Sauce :
This barbecue sauce is made mainly from well-aged soy sauce, with its rich aroma; 100 percent home-grown barley and miso (fermented soybean paste) made using whole grain barley and select spices. Rich but simple, this sauce has also been well received as a business-use barbecue sauce. Enjoy it at home, not only for barbecues but also for pan-fried noodles such as yaki-soba and yaki-udon.
Mitsuwa Yakisoba Sauce:
This product is a multi-purpose sauce featuring a combination of rich flavor and refreshing taste. Currently, this product has been adopted by a major convenience store chain as its sauce for instant Yakisoba noodles.
We've decided to share with you 4 SUPER EASY & DELICIOUS recipes we made using these sauces.
1. Yakiniku Tofu
We got this idea from a Yakiniku restaurant in Osaka that served us a side dish very similar to this. It was so tasty we just had to try to recreate it with our new Yakiniku sauce.
So easy to make and so delicious.
2. Simple Yakisoba ( with no soba ) dish with Yakisoba sauce.
We based this dish on the Japanese Yakisoba dish, but we made it different than the traditional way.
It’s simple to make, and you can use any type of noddles that you like. You can also use different vegetables.
The idea is just to fry some vegetables, fry some kind of noodles and add this sauce and BOOM - you have such a delicious oriental dish :)
Experiment with it, it's fun!
3. Fired cauliflower with either of the sauces.
Initially, we wanted to make chicken cutlets (chicken schnitzel) mixed with the sauces ( and we did it off camera, and it was great!! ) but we thought it will be interesting to try it with cauliflower instead. It was so delicious we gonna make it all the time now! Both sauces work great for this dish! Highly recommend as a secret ingredient in your fried vegetables or meet.
4. Refreshing cold salad with the Yakiniku sauce.
Well, combining vegetables with Yakiniku sauce will get you a very delicious and unique refreshing salad. We added some cold noodles for some extra texture :) You can use any type of cold noodles to do so.
Let us know how was it for you! And what will you do to make these dishes even better!
Thank you guys for watching!!
