I'm thinking of adding a small scrap fan (maybe from a junked small appliance) to the top. I don't know if the magnets will interfere with the small re-used DC motor I'll be powering the fan with, but I'll find out.

Maglev isn't really like this, It's based on meissner effect of Superconductors

What tape did you purchase so that the train and tracks repel from each other?

Don't do this project unless you have the exact magnets he has, Lowes, home depot, hobby lobby and Michaels magnetic tape is not strong enough. Just a heads up.

How much weight can you add to the train before it sinks down and touches the track? Pls reply as i need to make it soon and will the magnets work if the track is curved?

The wood block I'm using is too heavy so im.using a cardboard that's flat it looks sad. I want to use wood

What if i use magnet bars on wodden block and use magnetic strip does it wil repel
