It was the start of winter’s coldest night, it was snowing hard and you were outside in the forest alone, pale skin, shivering with many wounds and scratches from head to toe while you were covered in snow, you tried calling for help but your voice was weak and shaky, no one was able to hear your calls as you were ready to give up you peacefully you ask yourself. “How did I end up here.” in the same voice continuing to freeze but you starting feeling dizzy as you passed out.

You soon wake up experiencing the sounds of a crackling warm fire, with a fluffy comfty blanket tucked beautifully, a mysterious woman approached you and healed your wounds and scars, you asked her. “Why did you save me? Why me?” although you were thankful, you stomach felt guilt all over, tears fell down from your face.

“Y/N, it’s unsafe to be in this forest, you’ll get hurt!” she would get on her knees and plead. “It’s best if you leave human, I’ll send you home.” as she spoke those words, you asked her. “Who are you?”, she replied in a modest voice. “My name is Hwaa, I am not a human but a spirit of this forest and I don’t want you getting hurt, I have one wish to ask of you Y/N.”

You were surprised but either way, you gave a nod. “What is it that you ask for?” she said, tears falling down Hwaa’s face as she tried to give a response. “I want you to forget me.” as you wiped the tears off her face, you forced yourself to agree although something didn’t feel right, you suddenly felt close with her, it would be heartbreaking. “I cannot do this, I don’t want to forget you.” you said to her cuddling her as tight as possible. “But...why?” she asked you. “I want to stay with you, I know you don’t want me to, but it’s the truth.” you would give her a confession, she would reply. “I do too, but unfortunately we can’t be together.” she would give you one last hug, clinging onto you, giving you a kiss. “I want you to have this as the last piece of me, Y/N I love you very much.” in her hands was the last flower of the winter, she gave it to you, you cried as she ascended into the sky, but smiled at the flower.

Now, it’s the last night of winter for the year, and as the last snow fell onto the ground you looked over at it and back at the flower, still feeling empty inside you kept the flower and planted it. “A flower shall bloom.” you said standing there smiling with tears on your eyes, looking over at the stars, you see a constellation of a flower, reminded you so much of her.
