Explaining the eye wall replacement cycle | Weather IQ

Hurricane Milton was a historic storm, and one of the strongest on record. It also showed a textbook example of a phenomenon called the eyewall replacement cycle. Let's raise that Weather IQ.

Why this happens
A well-defined eye is the sign of a powerful hurricane. The strongest winds and heaviest rain surround this area, which means it can be volatile, forcing it to go through changes.

I would like you to include (what you have shown leading toward Florida) + (satellite imagery of Milton after it passed over the east coast of Florida and how it broke up).
Did it weaken to a Category 3, then 2, then 1...
Or was it "Category 3 Hurricane Milton" until it tore itself apart sideways, suddenly just becoming a storm "front"/"weather front"?

Thank you for this current video (it is great)! I just wish (because it is just 3 hours old, and we know that Milton has broken apart) that it included a little more footage _after_ it reached the Atlantic, how it broke apart.
