Aurora - NRK TV-Aksjonen 2024-10-20 (Eng Subs) - Invisible Wounds

NRK TV-Aksjonen (TV auction) was aired on Sunday Oct 20th, 2024.
It is a charity event with both a country wide collection door to door, but also an auction of unique items from artists and famous people for charity. Each year it is for a different charity cause.

This year was the 50th anniversary of the charity event! And this year it was for "Barnekreftforeningen" (Children's Cancer Association).

They talked to Aurora very briefly, and then she performed "Invisible Wounds" near the end of the charity event.

Aurora's performance was not live, she and Dagny performed a concert 6 days earlier on Monday October 14th 2024 with "Kringkastingsorkestret" (Broadcasting orchestra) which is the TV channel NRK's own orchestra.
The audience was only children and families that are members of the Children's Cancer Association.

If I were one of those very young children in the audience, who due to their age most likely don't really understand the English lyrics but like most children are very sensitive to the emotions conveyed in a song, I would get the impression from Aurora's performance alone that this song is about getting through hard times in order to 'succeed' (i.e. survive) in the end.

Aurora, I'm a strong 33 year old male who really been through some serious sh*t in my life and you made me cry during lunch while listening to this, for no reason. I couldn't stop the tears flowing so I just let it all go. Just let it all go from my inside.
I don't know how you do this.
I've seen all of my life, all my feelings, dreams, regrets and hopes in front of me, the most tender feelings. Hopefully I'll be a better person in the future.

It’s great to see that total focus on the emotion of the song.
It seems that when it’s huge and noisy crowds, she does it in a more playful way, but the focus is lost a bit.
This time, it feels more like the concert in the cathedral.

I am not very impressed with todays( musical stars), but she is a different thing altogether.
Music with real meaning is a rarity these days.
One of the best songwriters to grace us in a very long time.
