Today at Ewetopia Farms, we gave our lambs their CDT booster shots. All the sheep on our farm are now officially all up-to-date on their vaccines. We use Glanvac6 which covers sheep for clostridial diseases such as overeating disease, tetanus and also caseous. As we were doing our vaccinations, the long awaited rain came in and gave us a literal soaking! It was quite a downpour but it didn't stop us from getting the job done!

With sheep farming, there is always something new to learn. At Ewetopia Farms, we try to incorporate learning opportunities when we encounter them as we go through daily life on our working sheep farm. We attempt to show life as it truly is on our farm and to present things with a touch of humour. From lambing to breeding to selecting quality replacement lambs to removing manure to relaxing with the sheep - it is all part of our lives as Canadian sheep farmers!

Sheep and sheep farming is our passion and we hope that the love we have for what we do is obvious to you the viewers. Our operation is a large scale, purebred seed stock sheep farm combining the best of pasture and confinement to manage the flock for maximum comfort, minimal stress, and producing a consistent, very high quality product.

I hope you enjoy this video. If you would like to follow along with us and experience life on a real live sheep farm on a daily basis, please subscribe do that you don't miss a single episode! Thank you for taking the time to watch! We love to hear from you so be sure to leave a comment as well.

Thank you from Lynn (aka the crazy sheep lady) and Arnie (aka the sheep whisperer)!

Good morning Lynn and Arnie. Very enjoyable video. Sheep certainly are humorous about rain. But glad you got some more moisture. Looking forward to seeing who gets chosen as show sheep. So many beauties to choose from. ❤️❤️

I swear I could see the body language of the first group fed with grain positively beaming with joy are there was ease of feeding with hay stocks low!!
I did wonder for months about the lack of wool in the neck area at dhow time but once shorn it really is not a dominant feature.
Can’t wait to see finalists and reserves. No doubt a much edited video coming.

Nice to see standing water in your driveways and glad you're continuing to get much needed moisture. It's critical time for the corn and soybeans putting on the grain! You have a really nice "problem " choosing your show ewe lambs! A very nice, consistent group for sure. This shows the results of a disciplined, targeted breeding program. Nice!!

I'm so excited to see the selection of your sheep for the show!!! I agree it looks to be tough decisions, you have an entire flock of gorgeous sheep to choose from! While the rain did hinder your work it's great to see the puddles full!!! Your soybeans were soaking up the moisture I'm sure!!! Thanks for another great video and stay safe!!!
