I cannot believe I set up bonding on my Synology years ago and forgot to do it on the switch! Great video, thanks.

UniFi gives a warning to set aggregation on the upstream before setting it on the UniFi switch. If anyone is having trouble, it could be because you didn't connect the NAS before aggregating the ports in UniFi.

Whoa! Wonderful link aggregation instructions. I did have a problem, though. I aggregated two ports on my Unifi switch. Then tried to bond on the Synology (1520+). The Network Interface screen went blank. Had to unaggregate Unifi to get it back. Tried again. Same thing. What I saw was the Network Interface screen would go blank about 15 seconds after aggregating Unifi. So I went through all the Bonding windows on the Synology but didn't click Done yet. I aggregated the Unifi again. While it was provisioning I clicked Done on in DSM. Seems rather dumb to have to race these settings to get this set up.

How is this different from Adaptive Load Balancing? That also is reporting 2000 Mbps, Full duplex, MTU 1500
