I was 12 years old when this pioneer woman passed to her rest. It's unfortunate l didn't get to meet her. But l had the privilege to meet and establish a relationship with a couple of her contemporaries--Trula Wade and Dr. Eva B. Dykes. All 3 women had buildings at Oskwood erected in their honor.
