I want to know why the cutest pots never have drainage holes! You can choose to use a nursery pot to pot your plants in and then the pretty pot as a cover pot or you can choose to make drainage holes. Drainage is so important for your plants, it allows your plants to fully drain the water given, avoid pooling, and lowers the chances of your plant roots rotting.

And if you use the screwdriver method, be sure you have water fully in the side of the pot. Try it at your own risk 😂 I would practice on a pot you don’t mind potentially ruining.

This reminds me of the time you broke one of your pots trying to make a hole in it😂

Thank you for the water trick!! I am so frustrated with pots that don’t have drainage holes and I don’t always have something I can use.

Or put a nursery pot into that cute ceramic pot and use the ceramic pot like a saucer. No water to worry about leaking on the furniture 🙂

One thing I always tell people is that if your pot doesn't have drainage holes, that's a temporary plant.

I used diamond tips for years and will NEVER waste money on them again! Girl I'm telling you, get arrowhead tips!! They don't dull, don't get ceramic, glass, etc stuck in their hollow, and they go through legit anything and everything!!

I had to water the house plants in my MIL's house and it drove me crazy because 90% of her potted plants have no drainage holes 🤦‍♀️ I don't understand how she kept them alive

I decide to try the screwdriver technique and I ‘thought for sure I will break the pot’. It worked!!! I took some pieces out from the inside bottom, but it worked!

Love your channel! 💕I recently saw a baby/mini monstera. Looked so cute and thought of you (in a non creepy way) as it’s your favourite plant 😀

I put a layer of rocks in the bottom of ceramic pots with no drainage holes. Then dirt on top. That way the plant sits above the water. This has worked well for me. But thanks for showing this I had no idea I could drill ceramic pots ❤️🥲

This is completely off topic. My mom has late grandmother’s Christmas cactus, that’s over 30 years old. She’s tried unsuccessfully to propagate the heirloom, would you please make a video on how to do this? I don’t have many memories of her and think it be nice part of history to try to keep the beautiful red blooms alive in my house. 🌵🎄

Those things are the best any little drill with a kit will do!

I love my black and decker bag I use my drill so much for my plants and fish tank needs! They need each other. The fish feed the plants and the plants shade the fish ❤️

Saved again by my favorite plant lady.

People have started asking me advice. I tell them to watch you but they are too lazy or old. I watch you for the masses😂
