MAJOR EXPANSION Plans Revealed For Paultons Park!

Paultons Park in Hampshire is the UK's fastest growing theme park, with brand new rides and themed areas added on a regular basis. In 2025 Paultons Park will be opening the new interactive dark ride known as Ghostly Manor and in 2026 they'll be opening a new Vikings themed land.

This week Paultons Park have submitted plans for a NEW holiday village and in this video I take a look at the plans and talk about the future of the park!

Paultons was my childhood theme park it’s amazing to see how it’s expanded and changed over the years.

Aww this makes our family so happy. When I was a child my dad would take me on a once a year, 3.5hr each way day trip to Alton Towers. It’s decline in recent years has been heartbreaking. BUT, so much to be hopeful about with Paultons, which is now our closet park and we take our boy a couple of times a year. I hope that it will give him the same happy theme park memories that I have from childhood. The food is yum, with lots of variety, ride availability always spot on, it’s beautifully presented and maintained and queue times never too long. Can’t go wrong.

Used to be my home park back in the 90's! Haven't been since and it's crazy seeing how different it is - for the better!

Having had Merlin Passes and a Paultons pass I can 100% say we have a much better time at Paultons than any of the Merlin parks. Sure, bigger roller coasters at Thorpe Park and Alton towers but ridiculous queue times. Legoland ridiculously busy. Having to book in advance to go. The general tone in both Alton and Thorpe with staff. All the fast tracks overtaking us. Even with a teenage daughter, who you think would have the best time at the thrill ride parks, reality is we have much more fun, time and time again, at Paultons and have cancelled our Merlin passes and are doing Paultons again this year. It’s just a much more wholesome theme park day out than feeling conned by Merlin.

Paultons is fast becoming a major rival to the likes of Chessington, Drayton and Adventure Island.

Paultons is an amazing theme park and it deserves the title as the UK’s best family park !! Don’t forget about the free parking as well, can’t wait for the future and I was telling people on the opening day at Towers that all the times I have visited Paultons I have never seen a ride closed, broken or down for maintenance

I feel like I'm repeating myself at times, but Shawn, you are absolutely top tier! Your outlook and your perception in regards to everything that's involved with owning and operating a successful theme park is remarkable!! It's almost as if you're able to see things through different lenses. Which in turn, allows you to possibly see them more clear. I don't know why more theme parks aren't reaching out to you for your opinion or advise that struggling theme parks could benefit from! You may have your favorite parks throughout the world, but there's no doubt that ultimately, you want to see every park thriving and being successful!!

Paultons being my local park, its crazy to see how its grown over the years. I remember before when I was very young when it was run down and not much investment but it had cham which the local loved and for me having family work there was a great time for a young kid like myself having weekends there riding rides all day going on the log flume 20 times in an hour since it was always quiet and now seeing it become a rival to some of the Merlin parks is awesome to see

Paultons seems to be one of the nicest parks in the UK. The theming and overall landscaping of the park is top notch. Looks like a great place to take your kids. Wish we had more parks like this in the USA.

When deciding where to do work experience Paultons came straight to mind because of what a fantastic place it is. Well kept, fantastically themed and presented, friendly atmosphere. I love it so much and their future is looking increadibly bright!

Who would've thought that Paultons Park changed from a small regional park into a resort, I'm excited to see what's in store for the future of the park!

From a couple of different staff members that I have spoken to in the past few visits. Cobra & Magma to be rethemed (this fits with extended closing on their ride availability page on the website) From the work they're doing round the Edge ride with new fencing I would assume that's staying. There will be a new ride with an inversion (don't know if it's a coaster), but there is a ride type that is coming, and they want to beat a European park to it.... They are also doing ground works under the first helix of Cobra so there might be some sort of interaction with it and a new ride.

With the amount of investment they're putting in, I guess my idea of seeing if the Mancey family fancied a challenge with a certain west Wales theme park has gone out the window!😆

I go every year! Super excited to again this year, never gets old!!
Also going to Thorpe park for the first time this year, a little nervous as it’s a big change from paultons- never been on a coaster with loops or inversions so we will see how I cope 😅

So exciting! We've loved Paultons since our first visit in 2018, their food is always amazing, Aramark take note :-D
