when i was learning to do reverse entries, i learnt that if you are ever spinning out a tad too much you can let go of the throttle and hold the clutch to bring your nose bach around

Noob becomes amateur drifter 💯

Looking forward to streams coming back 🥳

Steady throttle and catching the wheel at the right time helped me. It’s just something you’ll have to put the time in to get used to. You don’t need a handbrake but it’s nice to have or you can bind it to the bottom portion of the clutch pedal. You’ll get it!!

you use more gas to maintain/keep angle, I personally let the gas go on transitions and catch... its all about feeling the catch and countersteering properly. Blimping the gas or pat patting the gas pedal is okay but you'll notice when you stretch the rpms the drift will lock in place more and it'll get easier. Also clutch kick when you feel you're running out of power and the rpms are getting low. love the vids, I also currently have a logitech looking to upgrade to a moza

The H pattern is honestly a lot more fun & getting to pick the exact gear can be handy af, definitely recommend it. And handbrake can help but you wanna start learning to control the car naturally instead of “cheating” with a handbrake. Didn’t have one for like 3 years (had a g920 @ just upgraded to thrustmaster tx), just got one and I still don’t even use it much unless I’m playing dirt2. Don’t rush yourself on the handbrake. Seems like you’re getting to learn the feeling of the cars limits & you’ll only get better. Good luck & keep up bro! Edit: For throttle control they’re two different techniques and really comes to preference, imo if you can learn the balance to keep steady throttle that spins the tires great, but no matter what you’re gonna need to know how to break em loose by feathering & how to react, I do a bit of both but honestly find I kinda combine em by keeping steady throttle with little pulses unless losing control then it’s off throttle to let the car settle, it’ll straighten itself back up a good bit. Sorry for the ramble, hope it helps

also you need a dynamic camera to drift in first person effectively and avoid bouncing off limiter (blip or holding steady? both work but keeping steady will make you smoother)

h shifter and also most h shifters can be turned into a sequential depending on the brand. you can do that with mozas h pattern shifter

Steady bro since it’s drifting with the foot but honestly it’s all about the feeling and intuition once it kicks in

if you want both sequential and manual the thrustmaster th8a has both and it is also high quality

I just started, I set my clutch as the handbrake and lowered the required input for maxing it, it's not too bad. I can't even complete a single drift bro and I have a T300, not the handbrakes fault btw.

keep the throthle at a steady pace like i use 50 in no hesi cars but it might be dif for other caars

as far as throttle control i think its preference but i personally blip the throttle but i think your suppost to keep throttle engaged to some level always

As also a Noob that is using a Logitech G920 I have to say try pushing back your seat a little and get a little further away from the wheel so your arms extend to like 85% stretch so you can catch the spin better

PS: An H Shifter is a good idea you could even get a USB adapter and just buy a logitech shifter if you want to go the cheap route cuz they are like 30€ plus Adapter price... Although a Sequential shifter can also be used as a Hydro Handbrake for Sim Racing if you do decide for both

if i can learn drifting and get pretty good at it with a g29, i have faith you'll get really good on a moza wheel. i want a moza wheel but im a poor person
