MSI sent us the Radeon HD 7770 power edition to unbox. With its overclocking ready dsesign & user-configurable fan, who says there isn't much innovation left in video cards these days?? Very cool stuff!

I guess it's good for people with small or awkward cases that could have a bit of problem clearing a two fan card but still want to have the option to add the second fan later..

I say that sandwiched fan configuration *will* increase noise flow if they're anything like a case fan of any brand. it would've been nice to have seen the fans with a few extra wide notches so as to increase airflow when it is sandwiched.

MSI, I have to give you props for this, that is a really cool idea.

AMD's numbering scheme actually makes a whole lot more sense.
You have a number denoting generation, a number denoting core, a number denoting core quality (as such), and none of that TI bs.
Makes it very easy to compare AMD cards, even across generations.

I think it does. When overclocked these things are around 7950 performance
7950 = 290$ average price
Dual 7770 = around 240-260$ depending on models/store/rebates

I've been thinking about replacing my single 6850 with dual msi 7770's (not the model in the vid)

I wish they'd just include no shroud over the heatsink and mounting clips for 120 mm fans. Stock fans are usually loud as hell
