Joe Arroyo is one of the greatest Salsa stars of his generation. He lead the salsa explosion of the 1970s, bringing out hits such as 'Te Quiero Mas' and 'La Noche'. Arroyo, real name Alvaro Jose Arroyo is one of the groundbreaking forces in Columbian Salsa.

I'm a gringo and I jam his songs almost every day. This guy was very talented. So sad that he died at only 55 years old of multiple organ failure. I remember hearing his music jamming at Latin parties in the early 2000's. I wish he was still alive making more music.
